Troubleshoot Greenbox

Greenbox does not power on​

If no lights appear within two minutes of switching on:

  1. Confirm that the battery is charged.
  2. Inspect the charging and power cables for visible damage.
  3. Try the approved charger and cable for the device.
  4. Contact your Planboo representative if the controller remains unresponsive.

Greenbox remains green near working Wi-Fi​

A solid-green state means data is stored locally. If it remains green when the configured network is available:

  1. Repeat the QR-code Wi-Fi setup in Install and use Greenbox.
  2. Switch the Greenbox off for ten seconds, then switch it on again.
  3. Wait for synchronization to complete.
  4. Contact your Planboo representative if the display says Contact Responsible or the device does not return to blue.

An internet interruption does not stop local recording. Saved data uploads automatically when connectivity returns.

Solid-red status​

A solid-red LED means the thermocouple is not detected or a data-upload error has occurred. Reseat the thermocouple connector and restart the status check.

If the thermocouple remains undetected, obtain approval from your Planboo representative before cooking biochar. A cook without valid temperature recording may not provide the required evidence.

Before escalating a problem, record:

  • the device and thermocouple identities;
  • the installed firmware version;
  • the approximate time and timezone of the event;
  • the displayed device state or error;
  • the expected company, project, kiln, and production activity;
  • whether the problem affects one transmission or continues repeatedly.

Missing telemetry​

  1. Confirm the device is powered and the expected sensor is connected.
  2. Confirm the device has the required connectivity.
  3. Confirm the assignment information matches the intended production setup.
  4. Check MRVin Monitor using the correct company and project context.
  5. Escalate with the evidence listed above.

Do not factory-reset, replace firmware, or change production assignments unless the approved support procedure instructs you to do so.
